Popular Collections - Weather

Kansas has endured many storms throughout its history.  Tornadoes are especially associated with the state because of the beloved film, The Wizard of Oz.  Extreme weather is not just a matter of fiction, though.  Thunderstorms, drought, and other natural disasters often wreak havoc on the state's major industries--agriculture and aviation.  Kansans talk about the weather to anyone who will listen because it is an important part of daily life.  Join in the conversation by exploring our weather collections.
