![]() Just inside the gallery doors of the Kansas Museum of History. Frigidaire Imperial Flair Stove This 1960s stove was designed to maximize storage space in the kitchen. It also functioned flawlessly for the Manhattan, Kan., couple who used it in their home for forty years. According to Jacqueline Mershon who cooked on the stove for decades, "We were entering the space age in the sixties with the USA sending a man to walk on the moon. I always thought this stove reflected some of the forward thinking of the time."
