Kansan Roya Zimmerman made the dresses for the bridesmaids, the flower girl, and herself to wear to the wedding of her daughter Cheri Zimmerman in LaCrosse, Kansas, on May 3, 1975. Roya purchased the fabric at a store in Hutchinson, and completed the look with hand-dyed lace trim and hats purchased from J.C. Penney. The latest What's New case features a bridesmaid's gown and matching hat.
