• This is an index to our set of 182 volumes of bound biographical newspapers clippings on noteworthy Kansans from ca. 1860 to 1900. The series was continued by the biographical clippings vertical files (see above).

• Consolidated Index to Kansas Physicians and Midwives (1887-1900) Registered with the Kansas Board of Health; and Dickman's Medical Directory (1881)
• Index to Obituaries from the Kansas Medical Journal, 1889-1966 (part of Kansas Biographical Names Index)
• Contains the name, date and place of death, and the volume and page number of the obituary. Obituaries usually include the doctor's age or birth date, name of medical school, year of graduation, and specialty.
