Discovery Place - Exhibits

Children through the age of nine find an exciting play area with a wide variety of things to do. The intriguing stations include Laura's Cabin, Oregon Trail, and a Plains Indian tipi.

Discovery Place can be reserved at no additional charge by groups with a paid museum admission.  All reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance. If there are no reservations, Discovery Place will be open to the public. Adult supervision is required.

Children enjoy using their imaginations as they play on the train, prepare for a trip on the Oregon Trail, cook on a wood stove, or arrange furniture in the doll house.  Dressing up like a cowboy  or putting on a puppet play provides memories for children and adults alike.
