Kansas Day at the Museum
Kansas students and teachers celebrate Kansas's 152nd birthday at the Kansas Museum of History!
The Kansas Historical Society thanks everyone who took part in the 2013 birthday celebration.

Governor Brownback welcomed visitors to Kansas Day at the Museum.
Dillons provided a birthday cake.
Kansas Day visitors enjoyed a variety of activities. Bill Nicks portrayed Dwight D. Eisenhower. Dennis Rogers performed American Indian music and dance.
Staff of the Eisenhower Library and the Garden Kids, a Dickinson County 4-H club, performed "A Day in the Life of Dwight D. Eisenhower - 1900."
Artisans demonstrated historic skills, and talked about the importance of these in people's lives. Museum docents shared a hands-on view of history with visitors.
