Kansas Museum of History - Hail to the Chief

Hail to the Chief was an exhibit on presidents and presidential elections September 14, 2012, to February 24, 2013, at the Kansas Museum of History in Topeka.
The Kansas Museum of History marked the 2012 presidential election by looking back at national campaigns throughout time. Besides campaign materials, banners, and personal items, the exhibit featured souvenirs from the candidates' visits to Kansas.
Presidents featured prominently in the display are:
- Abraham Lincoln
- Ulysses S. Grant
- Theodore Roosevelt
- Dwight D. Eisenhower
Artifacts featured in the exhibit:
- Memento of Lincoln's assassination
- Gown worn to Lincoln's inaugural ball
- Campaign lectern used by Alf Landon
- Harry Truman's Panama hat
