Heritage Trust Fund Grant Workshops for 2010

The Heritage Trust Fund (HTF) is a state program that provides matching funds for the preservation of properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places or the Register of Historic Kansas Places. This is a competitive grant program, in which applicants compete for the funds that are available for that year. The deadline for applications for the 2010 round of grants will be November 2, 2009. The deadline for the preliminary application for staff review is September 15, 2009. Applications will be available in July 2009. Dates of workshops are below. Each of these workshops will include information on applying for a grant and the administration of a grant should your project be funded.

Attendance at HTF workshops is not required for submission of an application, but it is strongly encouraged. There is no cost involved and advanced registration is not required. However, we encourage you to call 785-272-8681, ext. 245 if you plan to attend so we can estimate attendance and notify you in the event of inclement weather and/or workshop cancellation.
