Gov. Parkinson helps celebrate Kansas Day 2010

Kansas Day - January 29

Kansas celebrates its 150th birthday on January 29, 2011! The Kansas Historical Society invites you to join the celebration.  Festivities will last for two days at the Kansas Museum of History.  On Friday, January 28, the museum will host its traditional event for schools.  Festivities will continue on Saturday, January 29, as we celebrate the sesquicentennial of Kansas statehood!  Watch this page for updates on Kansas Day activities at the Kansas Museum of History and at State Historic Sites.

We want to thank everyone who helped make the Kansas Day at the Museum 2010 celebration special by participating or attending!
