The Kansas Historical Society is the perfect location for outside receptions and events. The Plaza near the Kansas Museum of History and State Archives & Library offers a a lovely view of the nature trail and surround area. In the reflecting pool on the plaza is the sculpture of The Great White Buffalo, by Kansas artist Lumen Martin Winter.
