Contents: Apologizes for lateness (due to ill health) in making report concerning looms, spinning wheels, etc., sent as gifts to the Pottawattama. When Indians were asked whether they wished to take possession of the items, they stated that no one in their tribe had any knowledge of how to use them. They did want the ploughs. Recommends sale of items not needed or wanted.
