Contents: Reports that twenty Potawatomie boys arrived in St. Louis from the Choctaw Academy. They were poorly treated by a Mr. Lensing who had been hired to bring them to Missouri. They were placed on the lower deck without blankets, beds, or clothing of any kind The Captain of the boat agreed to take them in the cabin for another dollar apiece, which I (Harvey) agreed to pay.

I have written to him that the funds are on hand for him here.
