Scope and content: Very large volume (#3, pages 125-480) intended as a record of notaries registered to serve in Hamilton County, Kansas. The volume is empty but for an alphabetical index at the end that identifies registered notaries and the pages in previous volumes on which their registration information may be found (e.g., Cross, Thomas - page 101). Unfortunately, Volumes 1 and 2 of this record series are not in our collection and none of those indexed are described in Volume 3. Some correspondence and blank forms related to public notaries are to be found in the front cover's inside document pocket.
