Scope and content: Dockets provide information for the case number, title of cause, attorneys' names, clerk's remarks (such as the type of action, e.g. divorce, debt, foreclosure, breach of contract, appeal, etc.), and remarks of the court (what occurred that day in the court for that case--trial, petition, court order, judgment, etc). Older volume, 1873-1889, is organized chronologically by each day within regular term of court, whereas the later volume--1949-1958--is organized in reverse chronological order by case so that all information for an individual case is in a single location.
