Scope and content: Gives deceased's name and some personal information (such as age/race/sex, occupation and marital status), particulars about the individual's death (place and cause of death), disposition of body, time and date when notice of death was received, and lists of fees for the coroner (e.g. for holding the body, oaths and other court or inquest costs, mileage, etc). Also includes room for remarks, not always filled in, which can include copies of inquest information. Last volume often includes news clippings concerning the deceased, attached to the record page. Alphabetical index by deceased's surname at beginning of each volume.
