Scope and content: This is a blueprint map of the Fairfax Industrial District in Kansas City, Wyandotte County, Kansas, showing the properties of the Union Pacific System. It was created by the UP Chief Engineer's Office in Omaha, Nebraska, and is numbered C.E. Drawing no. 43188. The map is bordered by the junction of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers on the south, the Missouri River on the east and north, and the Quindaro city limits on the west. It identifies the city streets, levees, harbor lines, manufacturers, the Kansas City, Kansas Water Works & Light Plant, and the Missouri Pacific depot. It also shows the active and historic track routes of the Union Pacific and Missouri Pacific Railroads, the Kansas City, Wyandotte and Northwestern Railroad, the Kansas City Northwestern Railroad, the Chicago Great Western Railway, and the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad.
