Scope and content: Microfilmed volumes of deed records documenting land tenure and sales in Marshall County. The deeds state the names of the grantor and grantee, date of instrument, date of filing with the register of deeds, a description of the land, amount, and that the grantor has legal right to sell the land. Some deed volumes include mortgages in addition to series 196181 "Mortgages." The earlier volumes contain hand written records while later deeds are written on standard forms.
