Scope and content: Records from Poheta School District in Saline County. First volume (1870-1881) includes a map of the school district boundaries, description and history of the school district, meeting minutes, board members' oaths of office and treasurer's bond, teachers' contracts, financial information, and district clerk's annual reports. The second volume (1927-1939) is a treasurer's record book with miscellaneous documents including memoranda and correspondence, annual financial reports, and lists of pupils inserted into the volume. Volume itself is a warrant register for monies paid out.
