Scope and content: Microfilmed vouchers, correspondence, city council minutes, architectural drawings, oil and gas lease release forms, real estate purchase orders, engineer reports, surveyor reports, and grant applications documenting the planning, design, and construction of the Oakley municipal airport. The correspondence is between city commissioners and engineers regarding the size and location of the airport. The grant applications were submitted to the Administrator of Civil Aeronautics for federal funding pursuant the Federal Airport Act. Also included are payrolls for airport employees.
