Scope and content: Microfilmed school district annual reports completed by the school district clerk and submitted to the county superintendent of public instruction. The annual reports document student enrollment census data, employed teachers and school administrators, school employee salary information, cost of tuition, and school district receipts and expenditures reports. The reports list student names, birth dates, ages, addresses, race, and parent names. They also list total enrollment as well as enrollment by grade level, sex, and race. The rolls contain a document created by the archival staff, appearing prior to the actual filmed annual reports, that alphabetically lists the school district names with the associated district number. Included are districts 1-89, 179, and High School Districts 1 and 2. The microfilm boxes are labeled according to the district numbers represented on the film.
