Scope and content: Microfilmed volumes A-W and 24-36 of deed records documenting the sale of land between two parties in Chase County. The deeds are copies filed for record showing nature of instrument; date of indenture; names of grantee and grantor; description of property; consideration; and date of filing. These volumes contain a variety of deeds such as Tax-Sale Deeds, Warrant Deeds, Quitclaim Deeds, Sheriff Deeds, and deeds documenting land sales as a result of Probate Court rulings. Other deed records tend to separate filings by deed type. Arranged chronologically, indexed by grantee, grantor, and/or numerically, in separate volumes.
