Scope and content: Individuals could petition for citizenship at least five years after declaring their intention to become United States citizens and living in the U.S. for those five years. Information in this series can include individual's name, age and address; occupation; date and place of origin; date and place of arrival in the U.S.; country renounced; names, ages, and residences of wife and children (if applicable); date of declaration of intention; applicant's affidavit and two witnesses' affidavits; oath of allegiance to the United States; and order of court admitting petition. Can also include copies of declarations of intention, forms from the U.S. Department of Labor and its predecessors, and other corresponding documents for each individual case.
