Scope and content: Annual financial reports of business, churches, charitable organizations, and not-for-profit businesses conducting business in Kansas and filed with the Secretary of State. These reports are filed by the businesses to maintain corporate status in Kansas. They state the organizational officers, board of director members, assets, liabilities, and authorized and capital stock. Other records include financial reports of labor organizations operating in Kansas and filed with the Secretary of State as required by KSA 44-806. Records from charitable organizations include Registration Statements for Solicitation, tax forms 990 Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax. Includes both foreign and domestic corporations. This series is previously known as "Corporation Annual Reports."
