Republic - Pawnee Indian Museum - American Mountain Man Rendezvous

Join us to rekindle the historic gatherings when trappers, traders, and native peoples once met to socialize, trade, and purchase supplies for the next trapping season. The American Mountain Men encampments will present living history reenactments. The Pawnee Nation will be onsite selling crafts and Pawnee foods. The public is encouraged to interact and ask questions. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of Pawnee Indian Museum. Admission to the rendezvous is free. Admission to tour the museum is $6 adults, $5 special (seniors 65+, college students with ID), active military free, $3 children (5-17), Kansas Historical Society members and children under five admitted free.

Pawnee Indian Museum State Historic Site is located at 480 Pawnee Trail, eight miles north of U.S. 36 on K-266 near Republic. For more information call 785-361-2255.
