William M. Tilghman
Lawman. 1854 - 1924
William Tilghman was described as an efficient lawman who served Dodge City as marshal from 1884 - 1886. Before joining the police force, he was a buffalo hunter and later co-owner of the Crystal Palace saloon in Dodge City.
