Capitol Store

The Kansas Historical Foundation is looking to expand the scope of its copper wares beyond jewelry and is once again offering Kansas artists the opportunity to work with the historic copper. The copper was removed from the roof of the Kansas State Capitol building during the renovation of 2013. If interested, you must be a Kansas resident with a working knowledge of copper. Please provide your contact information, including website if applicable or email examples of your work. Contact Caryn Kramer, Retail Coordinator at 785-272-8681, ext. 431; ckramer@kshistory.org

The Capitol Store carries fine gift items and souvenirs specifically related to the Capitol. The store is not currently open. We invite you to shop at the Museum Store Online.

Featuring art and crafts, books, clothing, collectibles, home and office supplies, jewelry, posters and photo prints, souvenirs, and toys, the Capitol Store offers the perfect gift for anyone who loves Kansas and the statehouse.

The Capitol Store offers items made from the old Capitol copper. These items include jewelry and other commemorative gifts. For more information contact the Capitol Store at 785-296-4537, retail coordinator, or store@kshistory.org.
