Virtual Classroom

Homeschool Wednesdays

This free program provides interactive lessons on important Kansas history topics. Students can work at their own pace. They will use historical thinking skills to actively engage in "doing" history. The platform allows parents and teachers to check the progress of their student's work online. New classes launch on the first Wednesday of each month.

Registration is required to receive a lesson code that is active for 30 days. To register, e-mail KSHS.education@ks.gov with your students' name(s), grade level, city, and the class choice. For more information, contact Joy Brennan, 785-272-8681, ext. 215,  joy.brennan@ks.gov.
